Lyons Township High School presents “Falling for Fashion,” a fashion show benefitting The Hope Chest, an upscale resale shop in La Grange. 100% of proceeds from The Hope Chest are donated to Constance Morris House, Pillars’ domestic violence shelter. October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, so the event will raise awareness of the issue while also raising funds for the shelter.
Student tickets are $10 and adults are $25. Tickets are available at The Hope Chest (123 Hillgrove Ave. in La Grange), on the LT campus, and at the door.
The event is open to all ages and will feature teachers, students, and LT alumni from all over the western suburbs, with models ranging in age. Fashion show attendees will be treated to the latest fashions available in the store. LT students are organizing and running the event.
LT Principal Dr. Brian Waterman says, “We are excited to offer LT students a hands on experience to apply classroom learning in a real world application. So many people will benefit from this fashion show, allowing our LT family a chance to give back to the community that supports us so well. We look forward to having our students work together to make this event a success and host alumni and community members on campus.”
The Hope Chest boutique offers fashions in all sizes and styles including clothing, shoes and accessories in a chic and friendly environment. To get a taste of the fashion, visit Hope Chest on Instagram at @shophopechest.
