Join Pillars Community Health’s domestic violence shelter Constance Morris House and All Saints Episcopal Church for our 4th Annual Silent Witness/Survivor Speak Out, in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The event runs from 7 pm-9 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm). Admission is FREE with donation of a non-perishable food item (to benefit families staying at our shelter).
The Silent Witness/Survivor Speakout gives an opportunity for survivors to share their stories, community members to express their support, and for everyone to view our Silent Witness Exhibit and learn about local domestic violence services. Anyone is welcome to share their story, a song, or a poem about their experience during the open forum. We all deserve to have our voices heard and to be safe from domestic violence.
Child care will be provided. There are no wheelchair accessible bathrooms at this event.
Park on the south side of the church by the Metra railroad tracks on Hillgrove Ave. Enter through the red door on Woodland Ave.
